Who we are

OMEMRA (operated by [Your legal entity, country], the "data controller") lets hosts create shareable memory boards for celebrations. Guests upload photos and captions; hosts see a live wall and download a PDF keepsake.

What we collect

  • Account data (hosts): email address, display name, hashed password or OAuth identifier.
  • Board content: board title, event details, cover photo, chapters and any images or captions submitted by guests.
  • Guest pass metadata: the name a guest types when posting, and the photo they upload. We do not require guests to create an account.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment provider. We store the plan you purchased and a transaction reference — we never see or store card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic request logs, retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Why we use it

  • To run the service you signed up for (host and display your board).
  • To generate AI cartoons when the host has enabled that feature — see the AI page.
  • To send you transactional emails (sign-in, password reset, receipts).
  • To prevent abuse, spam and illegal content.

We do not use guest photos to train AI models, and we do not sell any personal data.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of processors to run the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
  • Google Gemini — generates the AI cartoon from a guest photo when enabled.
  • Payment provider — processes plan purchases.
  • Email provider — delivers transactional email.

How long we keep it

  • Board content: until the host deletes the board or their account.
  • Account data: until you delete your account, then removed within 30 days.
  • Request logs: up to 30 days.
  • Payment records: retained as required by tax law in the operating country (typically 6–10 years).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, and similar laws elsewhere) you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights email info@omemra.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.

If you're a guest and the host of a board you posted to hasn't removed your content on request, contact us directly — we can remove it.

Children

OMEMRA is not intended for anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). Hosts are responsible for ensuring guests posting to their board meet the applicable age threshold, and for obtaining any consent needed to upload photos of minors.

Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

We'll update this page when practices change and note the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be emailed to hosts with an active account.
